The NATO members of the international community are split about whether to call for a temporary humanitarian pause of the bombing in Gaza, or a full ceasefire of the ongoing ethnic cleansing. A full ceasefire would allow aid to get through as well stopping the blanket bombing that is destroying civilian neighbourhoods and killing thousands of non-combatants in Palestine, including the elderly and children.
No surprise that leader of the UK Labour Party, Kier Starmer, is calling for the milder option. Starmer is a self confessed Zionist, and as such believes that Israel should ethnically cleanse Palestinians to create a Jewish ethno state.
Like the coward that he is, Starmer refuses to lay out this position straightforwardly when interviewed. Instead he obfuscates and parrots the Zionist propaganda lines, saying that “Israel has the right to defend itself,” as if that somehow justifies the ongoing, decades long genocide of the Palestinian people.
There will only be peace in Palestine when the apartheid regime is ended and the genocide is stopped. Until then, the Palestinians will continue to fight back against the enforced poverty and continued violence against their people.
When around 40 percent of the youth is unemployed, and people have to watch those around them getting bombed, shot, kicked out of their homes, and harassed, resistance to the barbaric Israeli regime is inevitable.
Call on your politicians to support an end of the apartheid.
Call on everyone to support the BDS movement.
Support direct action against military contractors and all those other businesses who support the Israeli regime.
One day, with our support, Palestine will be free from the river to the sea.
